ANIMALS Yr.2

Yr.2 children are learning A LOT about animals.

We played a guessing game in groups and they found out all the birds!!!! Here are some examples:

• It has pink feathers. I has got long legs and it lives in lakes.

• It is black and white. It can´t fly but it can swim. (It's one of Esther's favourite animals)

• This bird is domestic. It is omnivore and it gives us eggs to eat.

• This bird can fly and swim really well. It can be domestic and wild. It lives near water.

• This bird has colourful feathers. It lives freely in the jungle. If you have one at home it repeats what you say.

• It's a nocturnal bird. It has big eyes and it eats small mammals.

We also did some paintings in Art. Yr.2 children are REAL ARTISTS!!! Here are some pics about their masterpieces and some other classroom activities.

Many children were really interested in flamingos. Can they fly?? What colour are flamingo chicks?? Here are some videos to answer such questions.
