On Tuesday 21st February, CEIP Maria Moliner School celebrated Pancake Day!!! There must have been a lot of very busy chefs in San Jose the night before, because there were so many pancakes to enjoy at snacktime! All the children dressed up as Pancake Chefs, in aprons and chef´s hats, and we sat down for a delicious pancake feast with lemon and sugar in the morning, in the Comedor or in our class rooms. In the afternoon, in line with tradition, we raced in our class groups outside. We were lucky that it was the first warm, sunny day after so much cold weather! It was a real success- and the children looked fantastic racing in their chef outfits, and of course not forgetting to TOSS THE PANCAKE!!
